Hi Everyone! I hope your are all doing well. This post will focus on some changes that will be coming to the way you can schedule an appointment @ Scherdiva Salon and the pricing structure.
1.) All stylist will have their own online scheduling account through a provider they choose. I (Robert) will be using Square Appointments. As you all know I use Square as my credit card processing provider and will now be linking my booking through them as well so everything in integrated.
2.) In order to secure and retain your appointment with me you will now be required to retain the appointment with a credit card. Your credit card info is kept secure and private through Square. I/we do not see your credit card info on file. This feature is being introduced for last minute (less than 48hr cancellations) and "NO-Show" protection. Over the years I have turned a blind eye to those who have cancelled on me last minute (less that 48hr notice) or those new individuals who book appointments, sometimes hours long and then just choose to not show up or call, leaving me with huge gaps that I cannot fill. In the event you need to cancel less than 48hrs in advance or for a new client who just doesn't show up, I will now have the ability to charge for that lost revenue.
***Appointments that are cancelled less than 48hrs or no-showed will be charged the full price of your service.
3.) My haircut offerings will be changing as well. Recently it was brought to my attention that gender based pricing is illegal in Vermont and has been since 2016!!!! Wow! Not only is it illegal, it is also not inclusive for those who do not identify as male or female.

Haircuts will be classified as:
Haircut Short | 30mins | $41
Haircut Medium | 60mins | $61
Haircut Long | 90mins | $81
New Client Haircut |60mins| $61
Some clients will notice their haircut price will decrease and some may notice an increase.
***Clients will need to choose their haircut based on the hair they currently have and are walking in the door with NOT what you will be leaving with.
4.) Pricing.... this topic is always difficult and challenging but it is part of doing business and so it needs to be addressed.
All of my current pricing is listed below. This pricing has been in effect for a couple of years now and will be implemented across the board for all of my current and future clients.
Inflation is real and we are all experiencing it in all aspects of our lives. My Salon rent has increased, costs of goods have increased, etc. Therefore I need to ensure that revenue is being generated to cover all operating expenses.
