Scherdiva Salon Policies

Retail (At Home Care) Returns: Scherdiva Salon offers a generous 30day Full Refund return policy on unopened, unused or defective retail purchases. If your retail purchase has been used or you are unsatisfied with the performance of your retail purchase, you will be offered a retail credit provided you return the product within 7 days of purchase.  After 7 days no refund or credit will be issued.

Retail returns are only authorized and processed by the owners Robert & Chris Dockstader.  Therefore returns can only be processed Thursday through Sunday.

Stylists at Scherdiva Salon are booth renters.  Stylists may retail products that are not for sale in the salons retail area.  If you purchase a product directly from your stylist they may have a return policy that differs from the official salon policy.  If you have questions please consult with your stylist.

Gift Certificates: Since we are all booth renters,  gift certificates are only valid with the stylist that issued the certificate. Also, gift certificates are valid for services only.  If an appointment is booked and services are performed by another stylist other than the one listed on your gift certificate full payment (at that stylists pricing) will be due and the gift certificate will need to be used at a different appointment.

Children and Underage Clients: We welcome Children in our salon as clients and visitors but it is imperative that they are at a mature age to wait without causing a scene or needing constant attention from their accompanying adult. If your child is booked for an appointment they need to be at an age where they are ready for a salon environment without it causing stress to your child or to the stylist. If you feel that this could be a concern there are local salons that are available just for kids. We hope that you understand, after all we have put this in place for the safety, well-being and over all enjoyment of our space for all of our clients.

Haircuts: If you need a haircut adjusted we will honor a “redo” of a haircut at no cost to you within 7 days of your appointment. If you choose to request a new and entirely different haircut that was not consulted about, it will be considered a new haircut appointment and your stylists standard fee will apply.

Chemical Services: We guarantee our chemical services when products that have been recommended to you by your stylist and have been purchased from Scherdiva. If for any reason you are not satisfied with a chemical service we must be notified within 7 days of application. After 7 days an additional fee may be assessed. We are very clear in our consultations to avoid any miscommunication. It is key that if you are not satisfied to let us know immediately. We are very approachable and will go the extra mile to correct any situation. If you choose to have chemical services it is imperative that you follow an at home care regimen that we recommend. We use a complete hair color and hair care system which work hand in hand to complement one another. If a store-bought shampoo (professional or not) is used we will not guarantee the results.

Appointment Cancellations and “No-Shows”: Scherdiva Salon requires a 24 hour notice of an appointment cancellation. This allows us the opportunity to fill the time slot that you were in so we do not lose money. If this becomes a reoccurring pattern we will require a credit card to be held on file for future appointment and you will be billed for no more than half of your scheduled service should this happen again in the future. We understand that there are emergencies and situations where a 24hr notice cannot be given but we can only absorb so much.

Returned Checks: If a personal or business check is used as a form of payment and is returned a $25.00 returned check fee will be assessed to the balance. Once a check has been returned for non-sufficient funds you will no longer be able to use a check as a form of payment with Scherdiva Salon. We also accept Visa, Master card, American Express and Discover. Cash and travelers checks are also acceptable forms of payment.

Service Guarantee: We back our services 100%. If you are not satisfied with a service provided please let us know as soon as possible so we have the opportunity to make it right.
